Testing, Testing

Hello world!

This blog is also my area to test recipes from around the web. When I moved across the ocean, I had to leave my precious cookbooks at home (in order to leave room for shoes). Now I rely on recipes I’ve gathered from blogs, websites, and forums – and I’ve never been found wanting for choice.

What I cook is healthful food made from ingredients from happy farms; my produce is usually organic and my animal products always free-range. My blogroll includes vegans, vegetarians, omnivores who are sugar-free, bakers who are gluten-free, a wide range of fitness bloggers, mom bloggers, cheap frugal bloggers, raw bloggers, allergic-to-everything bloggers, and everyone in between. I love my blogs about traditional Indian fare as much as those about coconut flour and almond butter.

I have 1,900 recipes currently on my computer. I have 19 complete e-cookbooks. And these numbers grow every day. I have instructions for making your own sourdough, coconut milk, yoghurt, paneer, ricotta, sprouts, bouillon, soaked nuts, soaked grains, egg replacers, gluten-free flours and thickeners, sugar alternatives.

Actually, writing it out, it’s a little embarrassing. My point is, I love to cook and I have found that all the recipes I need to eat a balanced and incredibly diverse diet is available to me with just a few clicks. This blog will serve to store those recipes I have already tried, what I do differently, and my results.
